Custom LCD TV Wall Mount

Custom Made Wall-Mount for 32" Samsung LCD TV.

Aluminum plate mounts to TV back with 4 bolts. Three washers underneath the plate at each of the 4 holes allow room for the bolts that attach plywood slider to aluminum plate (these bolt heads face the back of the TV).

Plywood slider fits into dado in the 2x4 studs on the wall and TV slides left to right. Plywood slider is "soaped" to permit smooth movement.

2x4 studs are reinforced with scrap aluminum to prevent plywood slider from cracking the outer portion of the dado. The reinforcements probably aren't needed, but I wanted it to be bulletproof.
